Cindy will explain how to plant gardens to attract native bees and butterflies. Cindy will show examples of successful pollinator gardens on Madeline Island. She will demonstrate how to plant and show examples of riparian borders.
Cynthia Dalzell, Landscape Architect, has been designing landscapes for both commercial and residential projects for almost 40 years. Her business, Sylvan Design, LLC is a full-service landscape design and installation firm based on Madeline Island in Lake Superior. Her specialties are in hardscape with natural materials of lake stone and natural flagstone. She has a deep background in native plant materials and knowledge of landscape plants and planting. Two of her favorite garden specialties are native meadows and woodland gardening for both shade and sun locations.
