For over 10 years photographer Mark Weller has led his team in quest of spectacular nighttime shots of the famous Apostle Islands National Lakeshore’s historic lighthouses. Set against the outstanding dark skies of Lake Superior, Mark’s mission was to capture the summer Milky Way rising behind the lighthouses, which celebrates one of the most beautiful scenes in the upper Midwest.
